Good Day For Houston

What a day for the Houston Teams!!!

First, I will start out with the Texans. What a game. It was good to see them off to a good start making a TD in their first drive. The offence looked good in that drive. They actually looked good most of the day until Carr got hurt. They weren't great, but they were efficient. Truthfully, the score should have been 19 to 10. But, WOULDA, COULDA, SHOULDA!!! The bottom line is they won!!! And Carr haters need to quit calling for Rosenfels. Rosenfels looked horrible today. I know he came in when the Texans were thinking run, but you see how valuable a good running QB is. I was thinking about that 3rd and 1 when Rosenfels tried the QB keeper and failed. He is a good QB, but not the starter. I still stand by my Post yesterday that this isn't Carr's team, but he is the best QB on the team. I was thinking today, who's team is this? Who is the leader on offence? Johnson is a great player, but he leads by example. He isn't one to get into any ones face. I am not sure who is. On Defence, I think it is DeMeco Ryans squad. This guy is awesome. By the way, congrats to the defence. They played a good game. They have been playing well for the past 4 weeks. They could have easily been 4 and 0 in those games if it wasn't for a mediocre offence. Our kicking game is horrible though. Chad Stanley and Kris Brown need to check themselves. A 34 average in punting is horrible. 2 missed field goals from a makable distance is horrible, i think they will have some competition in camp next year. Anyway, Congrats Texans!!! You can lose out the rest of the season (YOU BETTER NOT) and you will still have a better year than last year!!!

What can you say about Yao Ming!!! This guy is just a awesome player!!! He dominated again against a good center in Shaq. I know Shaq is at the end of his career, but he is still known as the most dominant center in the game. But i think it is changing if it hasn't already . 34 points and 14 rebounds isn't bad, not bad at all!!! He reminds me of, dare i say this, but Dream. When Yao touches the ball, its getting to the point where you expect a score. I know it is only seven games into the season, but you can't deny the fact that he did this the second half of last season also. Again, I know this is super early, but he he keeps playing this well, could we be talking, uhh... MVP? It's a long season, but this guy is playing like an MVP right now. T-Mac struggled shooting again, but he just brings so much to the game. Can you imagine if he comes back to form and if Yao keeps playing the way he is, how dominant this team could be? I know they have things they need to work on, but you cannot deny that this team is playing well and mainly because of the dominant center and the respect #1 has to have when they are on the court. I like they way The Rockets closed the game tonight against Miami. They went up and then slowly pulled away before blowing them completely away. They have SA next. It will be another test to see where they are. SA has a great team. Now i don't expect The Rockets will go undefeated, but i just think they are on the road to being a very forcrful team in this league. Good game tonight, Rockets!!!
