Ok, The Rockets are only the 2ND best team in Texas. I got sick. Sick, sick, sick!!!! I was sitting there in the 3rd period thinking man, these Rockets look GOOOOD!!!! Then it all went down hill. When Horry shot that 3, I was thinking please don't let this be the beginning of the end!!! It was. I just couldn't believe it. Actually, i could. Let's face it, The Spurs have a great team. Tim Duncan is still one of the premier big men in this league. He and Oberto did a good job on Yao, whom I already gave the MVP too. San Antonio is just a good, good team. The Rockets are still young, and i really believe they have the guys who can get to The Spurs status of elite. Right now i see we need bench help. I know when Bonzi Wells comes back he will be a spark. People are saying The Rockets are doing just fine with out him, but last night proved he is needed. And what happened to Novak? This guy was lights out in preseason only to be left on the bench. I am not sure what he did, but if nothing or no one else was doing the job last night, you let him in the game. I thought T-Mac was going to have 40 plus last night the way he started out, but he went ice cold in the second half. Yao still had 20, but it wasn't his dominant game like we started getting used to. I have not jumped ship after one game to a really good team though. Not after one game. Remember, i am a die hard!!! i just seem to die harder most years than others.

And then there is Fred Weary of the Texans. Stopped for looking suspicious. Then to top it off, he was tasered. OUCH!!! i am sorry he is going through this, but i was taught a few things when i was younger. Never keep looking to see if the cop is looking at you or going to go after you, because if they see you, they are going to go after you. Whether you did anything or not. IT MAKES YOU LOOK SUSPICIOUS!!!! Second, if you get stopped, at least be polite to the cop!!! RESISTING COULD GET YOU ARRESTED!!! When i give my kids the advise, i need to say tasered and arrested. Well, l am sorry that Weary didn't get this advise. No look what he is going through. Why didn't he play the "Do you know who I am?" card?

The Astros hired a new pitching coach, Dave Wallace. I hope he can help the young guys coming in because lord knows Hickey didn't do it. The only productive guys were the old guns Clemens, Pettite, and The Wizard did great, but the 50 other young guys did nothing!!!

Congrats to Brandon Webb on the Cy Young. Obviously i was hoping Oswalt would win. I think they were both deserving. Ok, no I don't, OSWALT WAS ROBBED!!!!

Well, not much going on in H-town sports tonight. I am going to kick back and watch "A Christmas Story" with my daughter. I know, we still have to go through Thanksgiving, but we kind of feel in the Holiday spirit already. It was a choice between that movie and "Badder Santa" and since she is 9, we had to go with "A Christmas Story"!!!
